Who writes the school listing? Can schools write
their own listings?
Listings are created by Yo-Hablo to keep information
objective and consistent. Information comes from a variety of sources
including former students, school directors, school web pages, and school brochures.
Why use Yo-Hablo instead of a regular search engine?
Yo-Hablo provides information in a searchable, printer-friendly
format. We always recommend that you visit the school's web site for
current prices and detailed info but Yo-Hablo can help you locate school
web sites, save a list of schools, find schools that meet specific criteria, print information and contact schools directly.
What is "MyList"?
Users can save a list for up to 30 days on their
own computer (with a cookies-enabled browser). On an individual school
details page, click add to my list. The saved schools
appear on the MyList page and can easily be sent to an email address.
Is Yo-Hablo a third-party or study abroad agency
disguised as information site?
Nope. Full contact info is provided so you can
get the best price and straightforward information directly from schools.
Only actual schools are listed in the database, not programs from third
parties or free-lance agents. Standard school listings are free so our database includes schools in all price ranges, not just schools that can afford to pay for advertising.
Which schools does Yo-Hablo recommend?
The quality of instruction at any institution
may vary greatly depending upon the particular instructor, therefore,
our listings imply no recommendation for any school...we give you the
facts and you decide! However, if student comments or research show
that a school is engaging in unfavorable or fraudulent practices, it
may be de-listed.
What if I don't want to make my own arrangements?
Some users may prefer to work through a study
abroad agency to purchase a comprehensive package including transportation,
tuition, housing, travel insurance and more. Working through an agency
generally costs more and limits flexibility but may simplify registration,
credit reporting, and arrangements. The extra cost may be worth the
convenience depending on your schedule and budget. Please see our Resources

Why don't you include specific prices?
We only offer general guidelines because most
schools have complicated pricing structures based on length of study,
type of housing, variable program hours and group sizes, and optional
excursions. The pricing guidelines will help you select schools within
your budget range. Please contact schools directly for detailed, current
information.
